On the Kingdom of Heaven

I have limited insight into this, but this is my best view behind the curtain, so-to-speak, for now.  It will be probably definitely be updated and corrected as I come to understand more.

The kingdom of heaven is kind of like two entirely different but related things.  First, it is the peace of mind an enlightened person can achieve through mindful awareness and detachment from the ego self.  And you don't have to be fully enlightened.  I'm certainly not.  But even embarking down that road helps to see that you are really, at least in some aspects, two selves:  the thinking self who identifies with things and beliefs and ideas, and a deeper self that only perceives.  This deeper self has no time to think.  It only moves like the wind.  In religious texts they often refer to this as the spirit.  Don't worry if you're atheist, you can still follow along.  Just substitute spirit for a different humanist word if you prefer.  The semantics don't matter, the concepts do.

As we have evolved as homo sapiens sapiens (which, to my layman's perspective, reads as "the man who thinks about thinking), we have grown from ordinary animal and into a type of animal that has complex, abstract thought.  This has allowed us to control fire, develop tools, coordinate hunts, plant crops, domesticate animals, build permanent structures, develop writing, invent the wheel and other transportation and cities and factories and weapons and technology.  We went on to conquer each other and the environment and have had a blast creating genocides, pestilences, famines, extinctions, and oppressions along the way.  Isn't civilization wonderful?

Now we are at the precipice of our own demise because we have overextended our abilities of the rational mind.  We are superbly excellent at planning mutually assured destruction.

At this point, we have to evolve our minds to something else.  Not going back to the animal mind, to the perceptive mind, but moving above and beyond the abstract mind, above it.  It's like meta-cognition.  It's like collective consciousness.  It's like being aware of your thinking state but without having to think much about it.

One way to visualize it is like a Tesseract.  Imagine our current model of thinking as the inner cube and the next model of thinking, the one we are to evolve to, as the outer cuber.  

Actually, it would be more accurate if we could draw a cube inside a cube inside a cube, the innermost being our animal thinking, the middle cube being our abstract mind, and the outermost being the collective consciousness.

Evolving to this stage is no easy process!  It is like walking many, many spiraling steps upward.

It is exhausting.  It is painful.  Along the way the self-righteous who guard the gates to heaven will attempt to shame the prospect to keep them from entering.  But no one is perfect (Romans 3:23) and therefore no one should judge (Matthew 7:1).  There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed about being who you are (Genesis 2:25), and frankly, using shame as a tool is cruel, even if you're Bob or Sally.

Fortunately, others have come before us and shown the way already.  For instance, Jesus walked that long road and had help from many who came before him (Matthew 4:11).  We call them angels, but these are just other beings from other places that already ascended into the kingdom of heaven.  And then they are able to descend, incarnate if you will, into bodily form on this planet and other planets to help another species along.  They come "streaming in on sunlight wings, a million bright ambassadors of morning".

Angels and demons are just humanity's way, yet again, of lumping everyone into two groups for convenience, us and them.  These people are good and those people are bad.

You know it's never, ever like that.  In reality it's just a community of other beings that have ascended from elsewhere and share this communal inter-dimensional space that, in western monotheism anyway, is referred to as heaven.  There are no good guys.  There are no bad guys.  Some beings do things you align with more often than not, and some beings do things you don't align with more often than not.  That's it.  No need to oversimplify the fable or hyper-sensationalize it.

It's interesting to me that the one Jesus called devil tempted him with ruling the world, if only Jesus would follow that being (Matthew 4:8-9).  Jesus refused, of course.  I imagine he thought that helping people was more important than ruling.  Cool cat.  He also turned water into wine, hung out with the prostitutes and tax collectors, fed the poor, healed the sick, drove out the merchants from the temple, and constantly criticized the religious elite even though he knew it would lead to his humiliating and painful death.  What a radical, bleeding heart liberal!  Jesus, my man!

OK, so we got that out of the way.  Now, what exactly is heaven?  Here's where it's still a little murky, but I'll give it my best shot.

The kingdom of heaven is within you.  It is your own mind.  Your mind is your own universe, your own heaven.  Your universe exists inside other universes, which are nested inside others.

Heaven is a multiverse of many universes, each universe being the soul of another inhabited by many spirits.

It is the world of dreams.  We think that this waking life is reality and our dream state as an alternate state of consciousness, but we have it backwards.

In fact, this waking life, from which you are reading this blog, is just the environment from which we grow food for the true reality, which is heaven.  Heaven is eternal.  You never die.  Your consciousness will continue to live forever and ever, growing in this fertile ground we call the material world.

How, you may ask?  I am so glad you did.  What do you dream about?  You dream about your encounters and your experiences, and then your mind can expand and expound and explore from there.  But if you had no experiences you would have nothing to dream about.  You would have no heavenly reality.

So we reincarnate over and over and over, building more and more experiences into our subconscious minds, into our own little universes that we are building for ourselves.  So let that be a warning!  What you think about during your so-called waking life, and what you do during your so-called waking life, affects your dreams, does it not?  Then it also affects what you are doing and building in heaven.

Most of us are sleepwalking in our dream state and some of us are still sleepwalking in our material world state, too.  But when we finally fully awaken in our dreams, in heaven, it is like being fully conscious and aware, lucid and in control of your surreal environment.  You can fly or do magic or whatever you want.  (I am not fully awake yet in my dream state, but getting there, and that is why this blog entry may have to be updated later.)

Some will want to mold your beliefs so that you are constrained in what you do in heaven, in your own little universe.  They are like Transformer Decepticons who will try to sell half-truths and other sneaky ways into your subconscious.  But why?  Because what you believe in this world is what becomes real in heaven.  Do not let them mold you.  Do not let them control your personal brand.  Accept advice as you choose, but do not let anyone else own or control your mind.

In the heavenly realm, everything is consciousness.  In the material world, all consciousness becomes condensed into atoms and other particles.  But in the heavenly realm, that density does not exist.  It's like having a huge weight finally lifted.  It is so freeing.

Everything, then, is thought, and what you think is what becomes.  This where the Law of Attraction and Creative Visualization really come into full force, not that they don't have any effect in the material world.  Remember this:  online, you can be whoever you want.

Great care, then, must be taken not to unintentionally destroy creations.  It is prudent for the "nurses" who "birth" a mind into this reality to keep it somewhat constrained at first, and give it more and more freedom as it grows adept to the new environment.

Nurse is just symbolism for beings who temporarily leave their own little universes to enter into the mind of another, and help them awaken.

Construction worker is just symbolism for beings who temporarily leave their own little universes to help build that inner world according to what they know (or are told) about the subject.  They build as one would do in Minecraft.

Game designer is just symbolism for beings who temporarily leave their own little universes to help the spirit awaken and come alive through more and more complex activities and games they create, as one would do in Roblox.

They are paid in spiritual energy by the spiritual family of the offspring.  Everything in the spiritual world is run on energy.  We need energy to survive.  It is like the currency and blood and life source. Those that remain behind continue to help build the universe for a share of the energy proceeds.

There are others, too; renters who take up residence in the little universe and help grow it, to make that little universe become bigger and brighter and hotter with more unwoken spirits (eggs), spirits that awaken (hatched), and spirits from elsewhere that remain (flightless chickens).  The construction workers who leave are birds of the air.  And the owner of the house must guard it against egg thieves.  Everyone would love to expand the mind and grow it bright for greater dividends.

Nothing is sacred or private.  Everything can be seen and known, which is part of the trial by fire that one must endure to enter.  This makes your little universe, your heaven, in some ways like your YouTube channel, with other greater spirits paying energy to watch.

At some point, when the owner of the house is ready, they can learn to truly fly and leave the nest, to visit other universes.  The entire system is like an incomprehensibly vast Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) in the Cloud.
