C2 vs Agile

I’ve previously described the current spiritual energy economy hereherehere, here, and elsewhere.  It is currently being run like a hierarchical command-and-control culture in this dimension, with the god of this world as the king.

I think we all know who the real Lord of Lords is, and know he is humble, not seeking power.

So if that Spirit returns to rule this dimension, how might the current spiritual organizational structure and culture change? How would the current spiritual economy change?

In short, it would go from a control culture to an agile mindset. I will explain both, but first, an additional insight into the current spiritual economy.

Spiritual Economy:  There is an expanse between this world and and the Sun, from which all energy is derived in this dimension.  This void is vast and cannot be crossed by the spirits stuck here because they do not have the energy to finish the voyage.  If they tried, they would fail and freeze alone in the darkness. So they are bound here by their lack of energy resources.

They rely on the birds of the air, those sons who get energized close to the Sun, to make the trip across and back again. When they arrive upon our spiritual shores, they can replenish the spiritual batteries (figurative, of course) of the flightless birds stuck here and the unawoken spirits sleepwalking about.

They do this through a pleasure exchange.  Both the sleepwalkers and the caretakers bound here are helpless but to accept this condition.  It is not always entirely unwelcome, but for the fact that there is no freedom of choice.  And so, with that power differential, some birds of the air hold it over those who are dependent upon them; they exploit them, and become corrupt with lust and power and greed. Not all, but some.

What can be done about this?  I am not sure, as I do not know enough yet, but clearly 1) this is not a fair situation and 2) because it is not a fair situation many are taken advantage of.

Just like how the United States Constitutional Amendments were designed to prevent tyranny, so too, should the spiritual economy be redesigned to at least prevent exploitation.

I have a funny feeling that spiritual sex is forbidden above, and if so that should change.  Perhaps the workers below should be steadily rotated; everyone has to pull “midnight shifts” every so often.  (Some may choose to stay on duty here).

There is probably a better, more humane, way to feed the sleepwalkers as well. I don’t know. But it is my hope that leaders below could find the best candidates and start to wake them up too. Not everyone needs to wake up, and not everyone who does needs to wake to the same... spiritual alertness. And the qualifications should change, too. Less about faith and dogma and nitpicking certain behaviors or taboos, and more focused on opening the third eye in people who are generally good and well-intentioned. Keep it simple and pure.

Energy does not necessarily need to be equally distributed, but I don’t see why it couldn’t be. It certainly should never be withheld as punishment or to coerce someone into compliance.

I don’t have all the answers, but those are my feelings about it for now anyway.

Something just... dawned... on me.  The birds of the air could build out from the Sun to seafloor below, or the other way around, upwards.  It would be a wayfair bridge of outposts and trading stations along the way.  One could then travel on their own from one to another, provided they had the resources (the credits of which they earn below).

Command-and-Control Culture:  The hierarchal command-and-control culture is authoritarian from the top-down.  Think of a pyramid.

It can be tyrannical.  It works well in military organizations, especially in combat settings when members must follow orders unquestioningly like cogs in a wheel.  In these situations, leaders require predictability.

But in other organizations the command-and-control culture can stifle creativity and information flow or much worse, depending on how lopsided the power is distributed and tightly the management controls people, processes, resources, and information.  It does not value individual growth, instead favoring quick, short-term, efficient results over the long-term development of others who might offer disruptive innovations.

Agile Mindset:  In contrast, the agile mindset values, "respect, collaboration, improvement and learning cycles, pride in ownership, focus on delivering value, and the ability to adapt to change."  Think of a network of neurons, with supervisors being more like focal points that enable the others to find and execute solutions rather than bosses that dictate and demand results.

Within the agile mindset is the scrum master role, which differs from the typical project manager role.  This role instead focuses on coaching, equipping and empowering other roles, creating good relationships, conflict resolution, and shielding the employees from negative outside influence.  This role also reminds me of the humble, servant leader.

I think transitioning from the current command-and-control culture to the agile mindset, in a smooth and orderly fashion, would be a positive step.  It would require giving up top-level control, developing leaders at all levels, completely reorganizing structure and especially changing the way things are decided and accomplished.
