Fire and Water
Hope it rains soon, putting out the fires and bringing relief to everyone out west.
Fire is like the demanding, angry father; water like the comforting and nourishing mother.
Interesting to see some apocalyptic talk online. Reminds me of when some Christians blamed Hurricane Katrina on the sins of New Orleans. That's not a god I would want to follow. That would be like me sabotaging my son's family, health, reputation, and career just because he didn't live a lifestyle that I approved of. My son would justifiably leave home and never speak to me again if that happened, and I would be a terrible father.
I prayed a lot when covid first came out. Didn't have any positive effect. Things got a lot worse. As did my personal life.
