This came up again (again) yesterday. It has quickly become a dominant part of the American lexicon now, and I thought it might be worth sharing. Maybe.
Note: not all Karens are Karens, and even the Karens that are Karens can redeem themselves and become Karen instead of Karen. We all make mistakes. We can all find forgiveness if we just change our ways.
Hey, Karen. Yeah, you know I’m talking directly to you. Please stop being Karen. For the sake of everyone who isn't Karen.
Wikipedia: Karen is a pejorative term used in the United States and other English-speaking countries for a woman perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is appropriate or necessary. A common stereotype is that of a white woman who uses her privilege to demand her own way at the expense of others. Depictions also include demanding to "speak to the manager", anti-vaccination beliefs, being racist, or sporting a particular bob cut hairstyle. As of 2020, the term was increasingly being used as a general-purpose term of disapproval for middle-aged white women.
